Work experience
He enters the National Judicial Branch in 1968 and held different positions of the administrative career. In 1976 he was appointed Clerk of National First Instance Court in Correctional Matters Letter “I”, Clerk’s Office 61.
In 1981 he was appointed Clerk of National First Instance Court in Criminal Matters No. 21, Clerk’s Office 163.
In 1987 he resigned and left his state position to practice law and work as criminal lawyer in his own law firm counseling different enterprises and insurance companies. From 1993 to 1998 he counseled and represented the Criminal Tax Office of the Dirección General Impositiva (DGI) in his capacity as attorney in fact.
In January 2004 he entered the law firm of “DURRIEU ABOGADOS” and in February 2006 became part of “FERNANDEZ ALONSO – BECCAR VARELA & RICHARDS – ATTORNEYS AT LAW” as associate lawyer.
Since March 2012, he is part of “FERNANDEZ ALONSO & RICHARDS – ATTORNEYS AT LAW”.


Academic activity
In 1976 he was appointed associate professor of Criminal Law II at Universidad de Buenos Aires.
In 1982 he was granted a scholarship of Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain, where he attended several doctoral courses such as: Presumption of innocence in criminal proceedings, modern criminal approaches, legal medicine, international laws on crime prevention and treatment of criminals and aeronautic and space law.
In 1986 he was appointed professor of advanced courses on criminal procedure lectured by Escuela de Abogacía de Buenos Aires.
He lectured and participated in several courses related to criminal law both in Argentina and abroad.
