Work experience
He entered the National Judicial Branch in 1973 as assistant. After being promoted several times he was appointed Clerk of National First Instance Court in Criminal Matters No. 30 in July 1980. He resigned in 1985 and left his state position to work as criminal lawyer in the private sector and entered the law firm “REBORI & VERGARA” as associate lawyer. In 1995 he became Partner of the firm under the new name “VERGARA & FERNANDEZ ALONSO”.
In May 2003, together with Mr. Manuel M. Beccar Varela, he organized a new corporation which finally became the law firm named “FERNANDEZ ALONSO – BECCAR VARELA & RICHARDS – ATTORNEYS AT LAW”. Since March 2012 he is part of “FERNANDEZ ALONSO & RICHARDS – ATTORNEYS AT LAW”.
Academic activity
He was professor of Criminal Law I in Universidad Católica Argentina, (Mr. Esteban Raúl Vergara’s chair).
He participated in several courses and seminars related to criminal law.
He is a member of Sociedad de Abogados Penalistas.
